BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT, France, Feb 16 (Reuters) – French carmaker Renault (RENA.PA) offered a dividend for the first time in four years and saw a strong increase in its operating margin despite swinging back to losses in 2022 as it took a hit from its pullout from Russia.
Renault, which is revamping its 24-year old alliance with Nissan (7201.T), said on Thursday that it was targeting a group operating margin of 6% or more in 2023, after it reached 5.6% in 2022, twice as high as in 2021 and slightly above expectations.
