Avik Chattopadhyay

Avik Chattopadhyay is an Indian automotive strategist, brand consultant, and business leader with over two decades of experience across the automotive, mobility, energy, and marketing sectors. He is the Co-Founder and Partner at Expereal, a brand strategy and business solutions consultancy, and the Co-Founder of Emot.ai, an AI-enabled insights platform. Widely respected for his expertise in automotive product planning, brand strategy, and sustainable mobility, Avik has advised leading organizations, industry forums, and mobility initiatives across India and the Asia-Pacific region.

Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Avik held leadership positions with several global automotive and energy companies, including Maruti Suzuki, Volkswagen, Stellantis, Apollo Tyres, and ExxonMobil. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives spanning product planning, marketing, business strategy, institutional sales, public relations, mergers and acquisitions, and network development, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry’s evolving landscape.

Since co-founding Expereal in 2014, Avik has worked closely with organizations to develop growth strategies, strengthen brand positioning, and navigate business transformation. During the pandemic, he co-founded Emot.ai, leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver consumer insights and strategic intelligence for businesses. His work continues to bridge technology, mobility, branding, and customer experience.
