Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, today announced its financial results for the first quarter (April–June 2026) of FY’27, delivering strong performance across its premium, scooter, electric mobility, global business and commuter segments. The Company delivered robust financial performance with revenue growth of 36% and volume growth of 23%, reflecting sustained momentum across its key business segments.
Revenue from Operations for the quarter stood at Rs. 12,999 Crore, against Rs. 9,579 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA stood at Rs. 1,727 Crore and EBITDA margin was to 13.3%, Profit After Tax stood at Rs. 1,454 Crore, reflecting a growth of 29% over Rs. 1,126 Crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Consolidated Revenue for the quarter stood at Rs.13,126 Crore, representing a 35% year-on-year growth, while Profit After Tax (PAT) was Rs.1,418 Crore against Rs. 1,706 Crore in the previous year. The previous year PAT included a onetime gain of Rs.722 Crore on account of dilution of the Company’s share of investment in associates consequent to Public Issue and Private Placement.
During the quarter, the Company sold 16.77 lakh motorcycles and scooters, registering a robust 23% year-on-year growth over the corresponding quarter of the previous year, underscoring sustained consumer demand across markets. Revenue from the Company’s Parts, Accessories, and Merchandising (PAM) business stood at Rs. 1,689 Crore – a growth of 30% over previous year.

As part of its commitment to sustainable innovation, the Company introduced flex-fuel variants of the iconic Splendor+ and HF Deluxe. The launch reinforces Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to cleaner mobility while supporting the Government of India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat and long-term energy security, while advancing the transition towards a more sustainable future.
VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s Emerging Mobility Business, continued its strong growth trajectory during Q1 FY’27, recording 151% year-on-year growth. An expanding portfolio and growing retail footprint further strengthened VIDA’s presence in the electric two-wheeler segment.
The Company’s Global Business sustained its strong growth momentum during Q1 FY’27, registering an impressive 63% year-on-year growth. The performance was driven by sustained demand for an expanding premium product portfolio and strengthening its presence across international markets.
The Harley-Davidson Business also delivered exceptional 105% year-on-year growth in Q1 FY’27 over the same period last year. The Company continued to strengthen the Harley-Davidson retail ecosystem, expanding the network to 21 full-line dealerships nationwide. These dealerships offer a premium portfolio comprising globally sourced Completely Built Unit (CBU) models along with locally manufactured X440 and X440 T, further enhancing accessibility for customers across India.
