JSW MG Motor India To Hike Vehicle Prices By Up To 1.5% From July 1 Amid Rising Input Costs

By Mobility Outlook

JSW MG Motor India has announced a price increase of up to 1.5% across most of its vehicle range, effective from July 1, 2025.

The company attributed the decision to rising input costs and broader macroeconomic pressures, which have made it necessary to partially offset the impact through a pricing adjustment. This is a standard industry response to factors such as fluctuating raw material prices, logistics costs, and currency volatility, which continue to affect automotive production and distribution costs.

In a brief statement, JSW MG Motor India noted that the price hike is being implemented to ensure continued product quality and service support, while maintaining business viability in a dynamic economic environment.

The move comes at a time when the automotive industry is balancing sustained consumer demand with inflationary pressures on the supply chain. While the hike remains marginal, customers considering purchases are likely to weigh their options ahead of the new pricing coming into effect.
