Madhus Garage Equipment, in association with Hunter Engineering, officially launched the Hunter Road Force WalkAway and Hunter Revolution WalkAway for the Indian market during an exclusive customer event held at JW Marriott, Bengaluru, on Jul 15, 2026.
The event was hosted by Madhus Garage Equipment under the leadership of Nikhil B, Managing Director, and Ravi B.M, Chairman, with participation from Tom Gant, Regional Manager, Hunter Engineering, along with customers, dealers, workshop owners, OEM representatives and automotive professionals from across India.
The launch also reflected the enduring partnership between Madhus Garage Equipment and Hunter Engineering, which has now spanned over a quarter of a century. Together, the two companies have introduced successive generations of Hunter wheel service technology to the Indian automotive aftermarket, backed by Madhus’ nationwide sales, service and technical support network.
The highlight of the evening was the introduction of the Hunter Road Force WalkAway wheel balancer and the Hunter Revolution WalkAway tyre changer to the Indian market. Built on Hunter Engineering’s latest WalkAway automation technology, these next-generation systems are designed to help workshops improve productivity, reduce technician effort and deliver a faster, more consistent wheel service experience.
The Hunter Road Force WalkAway combines Hunter’s patented Road Force diagnostic technology with advanced WalkAway inflation and measurement automation. The system can inflate and measure tyre imbalance while tyres are being changed, allowing technicians to carry out two tasks at once and helping save valuable workshop time. Its patented diagnostic load roller applies variable force to identify vibration concerns and tyre-related ride issues that conventional balancers cannot detect, enabling workshops to deliver a more precise, first-timeright balance and improved ride quality. The two common problems that the Hunter Road Force Walk Away solves are:
- Pulling of a car caused due to a tyre-related pull. This is usually resolved by swapping tyres left to right and front to back. Usually this takes many hours but with the Hunter Road Force Wheel Balancer it can be identified and the correct placement of tyres and wheels on the car is suggested by the Road Force Wheel Balancer.
- Vibration of a tyre and wheel assembly due to radial force variation – this is typically felt by car owners when the car drives smoothly up to a certain speed. For example 90 km/h. There is a vibration felt between 90 and let’s say 120 km/h, above which again the vibration becomes very smooth. This sort of a vibration problem is because of radial force variation, which is identified by the Hunter Road Force balancer and the correct solution is also provided by the equipment.
The machine also features Automatic CenteringCheck to reduce setup errors, a patented vision system for automatic wheel dimensioning and reduced operator intervention, and Enhanced SmartWeight technology that helps achieve more single-weight solutions while reducing wheel weight usage. Additional features such as SmartSpot precision weight placement, eCal autocalibration, and an intuitive touchscreen interface further improve speed, repeatability and technician ease of use. According to Hunter, the Road Force WalkAway can save up to 15 minutes on a four-tyre changeover, and when paired with the Revolution WalkAway, can contribute to up to 44 percent time savings in the overall process.

The Hunter Revolution WalkAway tyre changer introduces a new level of tyre changing automation with its semi-autonomous WalkAway mode. Technicians can start the beadbreaking and demounting cycle and then move on to other productive tasks while the machine completes the operation, with Hunter citing an unattended bead-breaking and demounting process of approximately 80 seconds. When paired with wheel balancing, the Revolution WalkAway can reduce the overall mount and balance cycle time by 25 percent or more, enabling workshops to service more vehicles each day while maintaining consistent quality.
The Revolution WalkAway is equipped with a range of advanced features designed for speed, safety and consistency across a wide variety of tyre and wheel combinations. These include patented powered press arms for controlled mounting assistance, a leverless tool head that helps prevent rim and tyre damage, automatic TPMS protection that tracks sensor location during mounting and demounting, and an InflationStation that automatically fills tyres to the desired pressure faster than traditional foot-pedal systems. The machine also incorporates a built-in camera to monitor operations and support training, a space-saving wheel lift, bead massage capability to improve bead seating, and on-board multilingual training animations and videos that help reduce dependence on operator experience.
Live demonstrations of both systems gave customers, dealers and OEM partners an opportunity to experience Hunter’s latest WalkAway technology firsthand and understand how these solutions can help improve workshop productivity, service quality and overall operational efficiency.

Speaking at the event, Tom Gant, Regional Manager, Hunter Engineering, said
