Rajesh Mehrotra

Rajesh Mehrotra is a seasoned automotive industry professional with over three decades of experience in after-sales operations, service strategy, and customer experience. He is currently serving as Founder and Automotive Consultant at RM Consultancy, where he advises organizations on improving service performance and operational efficiency.

Rajesh Mehrotra has held several senior leadership roles across leading automotive organizations. Most recently, he served as Director and National Head – Aftersales Service at Morris Garages India, where he led nationwide service operations and customer experience initiatives.

His career also includes leadership positions such as Vice President and National Head – Vehicle Service at Hyundai Motor India and Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (Oman), along with extensive experience at Toyota Kirloskar Motor. These roles have given him deep expertise in dealership operations, service network development, and after-sales transformation across both domestic and international markets.

He began his career in 1991 and has built strong capabilities in field service, customer relations, and service planning, making him a recognized expert in automotive after-sales ecosystems.

He is also actively engaged in industry forums and knowledge-sharing platforms, contributing insights on workshop productivity, operational efficiency, and future-ready service models.
