Top 5 New Car Launches in India this year 2021-Year Till Date. Kia Sonet, Mahindra Thar & others.

We take a closer look at the top-selling cars this year, which are launched recently. The Kia Sonet continues to impress by the day. The compact SUV from Kia has got strong acceptance in the mass market segment and has raced away ahead every month with more than 6,000 numbers every month on monthly basis. Currently, it is ranked1 in terms of the new cars that were launched. Kia Sonet stood at 39,705 units.

Mahindra Thar continues to have great acceptance in the market, with a total volume of 13,223 units. Mahindra has got itself a niche segment where there isn’t much competition for the Thar, the Thar continues to rule the hearts of its customers and continues to sell aggressively.
Nissan Magnite registered a volume of 13,113 units along with Renault Kiger which registered a volume of 11,191 units. both the new launches from Nissan and Renault have got decent acceptance from the customers. The cars continue to garner traction and build their volumes from strength to strength.
Tata’s Safari has consistently ensured it does more than 1500 per month and has cumulatively registered 6,905 units. The volumes are encouraging given the fact that this segment has got a premium pricing and was a tough segment to crack for many, Tata seems to have done it with ease.

For the month of May, we also see the first few dispatches of Hyundai Alcazar, which dispatched about 1360 units to its dealerships. With a lot of buzz and excitement around the brand, Alcazar is sure to make an impressive beginning in the Indian SUV market.
