GM’s second-quarter US auto sales fall 4%

(Reuters) – General Motors on ​Wednesday reported ‌a 4.2% drop ​in U.S. ​auto sales during ⁠the ​second quarter, ​as inflationary pressures kept some ​new ​vehicle buyers at bay.

The ‌automaker ⁠notched quarterly sales of ​714,896 ​units ⁠compared with 746,588 ​units ​a ⁠year earlier.
