- Charging Ahead in India’s Green Revolution
JSW MG Motor India just hit a massive milestone — 1 lakh electric vehicles on Indian roads!
That’s not just a number — it’s a statement. A signal that India’s EV revolution is well and truly rolling.
The five car-lineup of EVs from MG viz the Business class ride Windsor EV to the stylish ZS EV to the city-smart Comet EV to the zippy Cyberster and to the Luxury Limousine M9 EV, the brand has built a lineup that’s turning heads — and turning India greener, one car at a time.
Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India said, “Crossing the 100,000 EV sales milestone reflects the trust Indian customers place in sustainable choices. I thank our customers and the entire JSW MG Motor India team for this momentous milestone. As mobility evolves, we remain committed to driving India’s vision of innovative and clean mobility solutions.”
The achievement comes hot on the heels of the JSW-MG alliance, which has supercharged the brand’s local manufacturing push, EV tech innovation, and charging infrastructure expansion.
MG isn’t stopping here. The company is gearing up to double down on EV launches, ramp up localized production, and make electric mobility more accessible and aspirational than ever before.
Anuj Guglani, CEO, World Auto Forum, congratulated the JSW MG team, saying —
“Crossing 1 lakh EVs is a fantastic milestone — not just for the brand but for the entire Indian EV ecosystem. MG has consistently balanced design, technology, and affordability, making EVs mainstream and aspirational. This milestone shows India’s EV movement has real momentum now — it’s no longer about early adopters, it’s about mass acceptance.”
As JSW MG Motor races into the future, one thing is crystal clear —
India’s EV story is no longer about if — it’s about how fast.
