Nikhil B, Managing Director of Madhus Garage Equipment, represents the third generation of a legacy that has shaped India’s automotive service ecosystem. Beginning his journey at just 15 as a hands-on tyre shop technician, Nikhil built his foundation on the shop floor—learning the nuances of alignment, balancing, and customer service from the ground up.
After completing his engineering degree and an MBA, he joined the business full-time, gaining extensive on-ground exposure across markets in India before transitioning into leadership. Today, as Managing Director, he combines traditional values with a modern, systems-driven approach to scale the organisation forward.
Nikhil has been instrumental in driving “Madhus 2.0”—a phase focused on empowering teams, expanding accessible in-house equipment solutions, and strengthening workshop profitability. His sharp focus on real-world challenges is evident in his work around improving workshop efficiency, unlocking revenue streams, and building future-ready service operations.
A strong advocate of learning by doing, he has led the creation of an in-house bodyshop to better understand customer pain points and deliver practical, on-the-job training for workshops across India—bridging the gap between equipment and execution.
