Renault Group’s Chairman Senard will not seek a new term at end of current term in spring 2027

PARIS, (Reuters) – French car maker Renault Group’s ​Chairman Jean-Dominique Senard will ‌not seek a new term at the end ​of his current ​term in spring 2027, ⁠a source close ​to the matter told ​Reuters on Wednesday.

Senard, who is 73 years old, would ​remain at the ​helm until the 2027 annual general ‌shareholders’ ⁠meeting, which is generally held in April or May, the ​source said, ​confirming ⁠an earlier report from La ​Tribune news website.

A ​former ⁠top executive at tire manufacturer Michelin, Senard ⁠was ​appointed as Renault ​chairman in 2019.
