Scott Thiele

Scott Thiele is an experienced automotive executive and a member of the Stellantis Leadership Team, responsible for Supply Chain and, since May 2026, the Global AI Transformation Office. His career combines expertise in purchasing, supply chain management, finance, engineering, technology partnerships and business transformation.

Scott Thiele began his professional career at Whirlpool Corporation, where he held several positions in purchasing and engineering before becoming a global procurement leader responsible for developing global commodity strategies.

He joined Chrysler Group in 2007 as the lead purchasing executive for raw materials and stamping. He subsequently held senior leadership roles across the Finance and Purchasing organizations, including responsibility for developing a global finance platform strategy aimed at improving standardization across the company.

From 2016 to 2018, Scott Thiele served as Chief Purchasing Officer for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). He later led the integration of the North America Purchasing and Supply Chain organization from 2019 through 2020, followed by leadership of the North America Portfolio Planning Organization from 2020 to 2022.

Between 2022 and 2024, Thiele led the creation of the Strategic Technology Partnership organization within Stellantis’ Engineering and Technology organization. This role strengthened his experience in developing technology partnerships and supporting innovation across the automotive business.

Prior to June 2025, Scott Thiele served as Senior Vice President, North America Commercial Performance, Cost, and Supply Chain. In his current responsibilities, he oversees Stellantis’ supply chain activities while also helping drive the company’s global approach to artificial intelligence and AI-led transformation.

Scott Thiele holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Business Management from Ashland University.

With extensive experience across engineering, procurement, finance, supply chain, technology partnerships and automotive transformation, Scott Thiele brings a multidisciplinary perspective to Stellantis’ global operations and its efforts to leverage AI, technology and data-driven innovation across the automotive value chain.
