Toyota halts 6 production lines due to parts shortage

TOKYO, (Reuters) – Toyota Motor said it would halt six production lines at five plants in Japan from Thursday due to a parts shortage.

The automaker will decide whether to resume production on the lines on Friday, a spokesperson said.
