New Delhi, August 29, 2024 – In a rapidly evolving world of technology, AI, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing are no longer futuristic concepts—they are integral to the automotive and mobility sectors. The 8th WAFit! Summit 2024, held at Aerocity, New Delhi, united industry leaders and experts to explore these transformative technologies. The summit offered valuable insights into the application, challenges, and future potential of these innovations in shaping the industry.
The summit began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the official commencement of the event. Anuj Guglani, Founder & CEO of WAF Group, in his inaugural and welcome keynote invited the present top industry leaders to harness these leading Technologies to solve the basic and age old problems of the industry and the society! How can these cutting edge technologies help us make vehicles and roads safer, supply chains more resilient, manufacturing more productive, predictive and safer, customer service more responsive and intuitive and data more secure! Panellists discussed the increasing accessibility of AI, including chatbots, and the challenges related to pricing and data security. The conversation also highlighted the disruption in the automotive industry due to emerging technologies and the importance of focusing on tangible benefits rather than the allure of new software technologies.
The adoption challenges of multi-cloud environments were explored, along with the costs associated with AI & Cloud. The concerns regarding the source and credibility of AI-generated data and the risk of data leaks were also discussed.
Anurag Agrawal – Co-Founder & Director, DataBloc Technologies in his keynote address, provided an insightful overview of Blockchain technology, breaking down its core elements, including Decentralized and Distributed Ledgers, Shared Ledger, Cryptography, Consensus, and Smart Contracts. He highlighted the benefits of Blockchain, such as increased social security, continuous uptime, and the elimination of intermediaries, using examples from leading automotive brands like Renault, BMW, Honda, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Mercedes.
Ravi Rajendra – Founder & CEO, Qik Office discussed the complexities of managing organizational meetings and introduced Qik Office, an all-encompassing solution designed to enhance efficiency and productivity through AI integration. The keynote highlighted Qik’s ability to understand data and recognise voices in up to 99 languages in a single meeting and also auto prepares minutes of meeting, to-do list and much more, saving organizations significant costs per employee.
In his keynote, Naveen Gupta, Founder & CEO of Intellinet Systems, discussed how AI and Cloud Computing are transforming aftermarket solutions. He shared real-life examples showing how these technologies are used to improve efficiency, predict maintenance needs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Mr. Gupta explained that Intellinet Systems is leveraging AI and Cloud to optimize operations, reduce downtime, and streamline supply chains. He highlighted the importance of these technologies in staying competitive and driving innovation in the automotive industry.

This panel featured real-world examples of AI, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing enhancing enterprise operations and customer satisfaction, with insights from industry leaders.
In the words of experts, the customer does not care about the enabler in the background but the customer experience or user experience as we know is pivotal and that has to be focused on.
Additionally, the importance of AI in lightweight engines, data mining, and counterfeit prevention was discussed, along with the challenges associated with cloud costs. The need for proper training, guidelines and framework was discussed to use the AI technology mindfully!
Mr. Ravish Sahay – Founder & CEO, SequelString AI delivered a compelling keynote on the integration of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with AI, illustrating its potential to power enterprise business operations. He presented an interactive example where a bill was scanned by AI, instantly extracting all relevant information within seconds, demonstrating the efficiency and accuracy of AI in business processes.
