Akash Gupta is an Indian entrepreneur and mobility innovator, best known as the Co-Founder and CEO of Zypp Electric, India’s largest EV-as-a-Service platform. With over a decade of leadership experience across mobility, fintech, e-commerce, and technology, he has been at the forefront of accelerating electric mobility and sustainable last-mile logistics in India. Under his leadership, Zypp Electric has built a robust EV ecosystem serving leading e-commerce, food delivery, grocery, pharmacy, and hyperlocal businesses, with thousands of electric vehicles deployed across the country.
Before founding Zypp Electric in 2017, Akash Gupta held several senior leadership roles across India’s technology ecosystem. As Vice President and Head of Marketing at MobiKwik, he played a pivotal role in scaling the fintech company and strengthening its position as one of India’s leading digital payments platforms. Prior to that, he led acquisitions and strategic alliances for mobile marketing at Snapdeal, driving app growth, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked with Bharti Airtel, Dell Perot Systems, Infosys, and Frost & Sullivan, building expertise in product strategy, marketing, business operations, and technology.
At Zypp Electric, Akash Gupta has championed the transition towards zero-emission logistics by providing EVs and delivery partners as a service for businesses. His vision extends beyond electric vehicles to creating a complete technology-enabled mobility ecosystem that supports India’s sustainability goals while improving operational efficiency for enterprises.
