C S Vigneshwar is a prominent automotive retail leader and third-generation entrepreneur from Coimbatore, with deep involvement in India’s automobile dealership ecosystem and industry bodies.
Born into a business family, C S Vigneshwar spent his early years in Chennai, where he completed his schooling at Don Bosco. He graduated in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai, followed by an MBA from GRD College, Coimbatore, and an MSc in International Business from Manchester Metropolitan University.
He joined the family business in 2004 and represents the third generation of the ARC Group. The group has diversified interests across goods transportation, automobile dealerships, drinking water, packaged foods, green energy, farming, FMCG distribution, and education. Under his leadership, the group has strengthened its focus on sustainability, environmental responsibility, and progressive HR and CSR practices.
He served as the 37th President of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) for the 2024–2026 term, representing automobile dealers across India and driving key industry initiatives, policy engagement, and stakeholder collaboration, and will thereafter be referred to as Former President – FADA (2024–2026) following the completion of his tenure and succession by Sai Giridhar.
Beyond business, he serves as Area Commander for Home Guards in Coimbatore City, reflecting his commitment to public service.
Having travelled to over 70 countries, his personal interests include camping, nature photography, and off-roading. He values continuous learning and considers time spent with family, friends, and his pets as essential to a fulfilling life.
C S Vigneshwar continues to contribute to India’s automotive ecosystem through leadership, industry engagement, and a strong focus on sustainable mobility and dealer development.
