(Reuters) – General Motors is recalling 271,770 cars in the U.S. over an issue with the rearview camera, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.

- Recall includes Chevrolet Malibu sedans, NHTSA said.
- The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image, reducing the driver’s view behind the vehicle, according to the NHTSA.
- The agency said that dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera.
