Sonia Nagpal is a seasoned banking and financial advisory professional with over 18 years of experience, specializing in NRI taxation, wealth management, and investment advisory. She is the CEO and Founder of Tax Insight, where she focuses on delivering expert solutions in NRI taxation and GST consulting.
Sonia Nagpal brings deep expertise in managing NRI banking, client relationship management, and financial planning. Her career reflects strong capabilities in strategy development, implementation, and analytical problem-solving across complex financial domains.
Prior to founding Tax Insight, she held leadership roles at leading financial institutions including ICICI Bank, ABN AMRO Bank (now RBS), and IndusInd Bank. She played a key role in establishing and scaling the NRI banking channel for IndusInd Bank in the Delhi NCR region, successfully leading it for over five years and driving significant growth.
Her experience also includes heading HNI (VGPB) banking services at ABN AMRO and serving as Service Project Lead at the corporate level, managing pan-India initiatives. At IndusInd Bank, she progressed from Branch Head to leading NRI Services for North India.
She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from IMT Ghaziabad.
