The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 78% of the cars sold in December 2021. It had 11 models from Maruti, 4 from Tata, 3 from Hyundai and Mahindra, 2 from Honda, and 1 from Toyota & Kia each. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed to just over 58 percent volumes in the Top 25!

Tata’s Nexon became the Best Selling SUV for December 2021 – It overtook the likes of Creta, Brezza, etc to take the top slot. Nexon also emerged as the only Non-Maruti model in the Top 5!

Ertiga / XL6 duo have been consistently raking in impressive volumes for Maruti Suzuki. Ertiga alone ranked 5th in Dec’21 and was the best-selling MUV for last month. Kia is eyeing the segment with Carens now.

Hyundai had only 1 model in the Top 10 – Venue. Hyundai Venue was the highest-selling model for the OEM and the dispatches were higher than the sibling Creta.
