Hilal Khan is a distinguished automotive technology leader with more than three decades of experience in information technology, digital transformation, connected mobility, and enterprise systems. He currently serves as the Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) at JSW Motors Limited, where he is leading the company’s digital strategy, technology roadmap, cybersecurity, data initiatives, and enterprise-wide transformation to support next-generation mobility solutions.
Prior to joining JSW Motors, Hilal Khan spent over 25 years at Honda Cars India Ltd., most recently serving as Vice President & Operating Head – IT. During his tenure, he spearheaded several business transformation initiatives, modernized enterprise technology infrastructure, and played a key role in advancing connected mobility and digital innovation across the organization. His leadership helped strengthen technology-driven operations, customer experience, and business agility.
Earlier in his career, Hilal held leadership roles at Global IT Options, Daewoo Motors India, and DCM Toyota, building deep expertise in enterprise IT, ERP implementation, business consulting, and automotive technology. His experience spans internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicle ecosystems, making him one of the industry’s most experienced digital transformation leaders.
