The Mission – To set national speed endurance records over 24 hours in VW Cars!
The Battleground –The 11.3km long NATRAX – National Automotive High-speed Test tracks
The Weapons and Ammo – Two Volkswagen Virtus 1.5-litre GTs, one Virtus 1-litre MT, and two Taigun 1-litre ATs.
The Army – Team EVO India, Media Teams, Team VW
The indomitable VW Machines raced at high speeds, averaging 194 kmph, covering the 11.3km track. Meanwhile the VW Taigun 1.0L TSI maintained a speed of 55kmph, testing the fuel efficiency of the High performance VW TSI engines. Best of Both the World!
Team Volkswagen India have created the following new national records :
🏆 National Records for max distance covered in 24 hours (overall): Volkswagen Virtus GT 1.5l TSI EVO : 4654.48km
🏆 National Records for max distance covered in 24 hours (sedan): Volkswagen #Virtus GT 1.5l TSI EVO : 4654.48km
🏆 National Records for max distance covered in 24 hours (SUV): Volkswagen #Taigun 1.0l TSI : 4423.82 km
🏆 National Records for best fuel efficiency in 24 hours (Turbo petrol engine): Volkswagen Taigun 1.0l TSI, 29.8 kmpl
Though these are all Provisional records but soon shall find entries in the various Books of National Records!
